No Excuses
What up peeps? I have something to share with you. I have a lower back problem that I have had for years! It got worse when I was in a car accident in '06. Sometimes my back hurts so bad -- could be a herniated disk -- that I have to start off on my hands and knees to get to my feet. I know that I won't be able to run as fast as I used to, or lift as much as I used to in the weight room. BUT, I still try. I am not going to let this issue stop me from getting my workouts in. So don't let an injury or just being lazy keep you from getting some kind of physical activity in on a daily basis. It's mind over matter. Remember the little engine that could? Well get over that hill baby!

Oh wow! I can totally relate.. my lower back took a beating after carrying 4 BIG babies and being involved in a head on collision. There are days I literally am in so much pain that even the most simplest task is just too much to bear. Ive learned what causes my flair ups and I avoid them like the black plague! On days I feel good, which is pretty often.. I head to the gym. I always try to get an ab workout in because I know having strong core muscles helps your back. I would love to know what other exercises I can do to strengthen my back..
